As you know, diving is not recommended during pregnancy. However, because scientific data on the subject is poor, it is difficult to counsel women who have dived while pregnant but did not know it at that time.
A group of researchers have created a questionnaire for female divers who went diving and later learned they were pregnant. The responses will be used (anonymously) as part of a study investigating possible implications of diving on health of pregnant women and the outcome of their pregnancy.
The online questionnaire takes 10-20 minutes to complete and is available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. The survey is anonymous. Neither PADI, nor the investigators will have access to the identities of the participants. If you have questions, please contact the researchers via the following email: diving.study(at)chuv.ch
