The Tasselled Anglerfish is a camouflage expert, with its fleshy tentacles and colour making it easy to blend into surroundings.

While doing its best to camouflage, the anglerfish tries to lure prey by ‘fishing’ with its esca, an irregular growth of flesh. By wiggling and waving the esca around in front it its mouth, critters are unwittingly lured into a deadly situation.
