It’s nice to dive wrecks knowing that nobody on board was seriously injured, however that’s not always the case. There’s a tragic story behind the Star of Greece Wreck, located in Port Willunga, South Australia, with a storm in 1888 causing the crash only 200 metres from shore. Unfortunately there were at least 18 lives lost.

Originally a large three masted iron ship, there is only a small percentage of the wreck that remains. That’s not to say it isn’t still an interesting dive with a history that brings it to life.
