From March 1 to April 30, 2025, divers worldwide will have the opportunity to advance their training and win an incredible Grand Prize, a PADI Specialty Diver course of their choice and a Fourth Element gear pack!
Why Become an Advanced Open Water Diver?
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification is your gateway to advancing your skills and extending your dive experiences. It also builds confidence and allows you to explore deeper waters (up to 30 meters/100 feet). Plus, it’s a crucial step to becoming a PADI Pro or a Master Scuba Diver — an elite group of recreational divers who have completed the Advanced Open Water Diver course, the Rescue Diver course and five Specialty Diver courses.
During your Advanced Open Water Diver course, you will:
- Complete two Adventure Dives focused on Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation
- Choose three additional Adventure Dives based on your interests
- Learn new skills to handle different diving conditions
By earning this certification, you unlock new dive sites, gain experience, and prepare for more advanced courses, like Rescue Diver and Divemaster.
How To Enter the Advanced Open Water Diver Challenge
Participating in the Advanced Open Water Diver Challenge is easy! Here’s how to get started:
- Sign Up – Fill out the entry form between March 1 and March 31, 2025, and share your story: Why do you want to become a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver? This earns you one contest entry.
- Earn Additional Entries – Increase your chances of winning by completing the following actions before April 30, 2025:
- Earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – Earn 10 additional entries
- Join PADI Club – Earn 5 additional entries
The more entries you earn, the better your chances of winning!
The Prizes
At the end of the contest, three lucky winners will be selected!
The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
- A PADI Specialty Diver course of their choice
- A Fourth Element gear pack, including a wetsuit, fins, a mask, a snorkel and a gear bag of their choice.
The second and third prize winners will be awarded a recreational PADI eLearning course of their choice.
