As a kid living along the coast of Alaska, all I wanted to be when I grew up was a boat captain and oceanographer. But I’ve been perfectly happy at Project AWARE Foundation, campaigning for ocean protection for the last 12 years. The urge to become a diver has been with me since I can remember. But it was during my Divemaster course that I was surprised by the news of two identical little dudes on the way - and my life has never been the same. Needless to say, my boy life is nothing short of chaotic and I have yet to complete the course. For now, I can be found on any number of sports fields, posing as a groupie for my husband’s band or kicking up sand along the Pacific coast. And I wouldn’t change a thing.
