As divers, we love and respect sharks. Unfortunately, many people see them as terrifying monsters. In this video, we invite you to learn the truth. Meet the divers and crew who scuba dive with massive great white sharks, and you’ll soon see the notorious great white in a different light.
This video was filmed off a remote island in Mexico. To capture the dramatic images you see, we worked with a dive operator that actively supports shark research and conservation activities and has a close relationship both with local marine biologists and the Guadalupe Conservation Fund. You’ll see a small amount of bait used, but the sharks are attracted to this spot because it’s a pinniped sanctuary –not because of the dive boat’s activities.
