Scuba Diving® magazine’s 22nd annual Through Your Lens photo contest* is underway and accepting images that highlight the incredible underwater world.
“Through Your Lens has always been about discovering new talent and giving underwater photographers a place to share their perspective with the world. Every year, we’re introduced to photographers who capture the ocean in ways we’ve never seen before, and that’s what makes this contest so exciting,” says Lauren Eggert, Content and Creative Director for Scuba Diving magazine.
We invite you to submit your best images now through 15 June, 2026, in the following categories:
- Wide-angle
- Macro
- Behavior
- Compact/Smartphone
- Sharks and Rays
The Shark and Ray category was created in support of PADI AWARE® Foundation’s Global Shark & Ray Census and its ongoing conservation efforts focused on vulnerable shark and ray species worldwide.
You can enter up to five photos in each category, and entry is free.
The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 US cash prize, a week-long liveaboard trip aboard the Komodo Aggressor and an eco-parka from Cape Cali.
First-place winners in each category will also receive a liveaboard trip with Aggressor, All Star Liveaboards or Explorer Ventures and divewear from the Cape Cali x PADI collection.
Second-place winners will receive a Scubapro MK11/Evo C370 color regulator system.
Third-place winners will receive a Shearwater Tern TX dive computer.
Select winners will also have the opportunity to have their photo featured on the cover of the magazine.
